Delaware Licensing and Renewal
The primary objective of the Delaware Real Estate Commission (DREC) is to protect the public from practices that are unsafe and which tend to reduce competition or fix prices for services.
The commission also maintains standards of professional competence and service delivery. The commission approaches the fulfillment of this mission by meeting three objectives:
- Development of standards for professional competency
- Promulgation of rules and regulations
- Adjudication of complaints against professionals and, when necessary, the imposition of disciplinary sanctions.
The commission issues licenses to real estate brokers, associate brokers, and salespeople. It also licenses real estate main and branch offices. If you have any questions about licensing, please contact the Delaware Real Estate Commission (DREC).
