Real Estate Scams Reporting Tool
Listing fraud, fake buyers and sellers, false identification schemes—these are just a few of the ways scammers are working to deceive REALTORS® and their clients. In an increasingly digital world, these schemes are becoming more sophisticated, targeting vulnerable transactions, and exploiting trust.
As a REALTOR®, you play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of the industry. Your vigilance can make a significant difference in preventing others from falling victim to similar scams. If you come across any suspicious activity—whether it’s a fraudulent listing, a dubious inquiry from a supposed buyer or seller, or any other questionable situation—don’t keep it to yourself.
By reporting your concerns and sharing the details of these incidents, you help protect not only your fellow REALTORS® but also the clients and communities you serve. Together, we can stay one step ahead of these bad actors.
If you believe your colleagues should be alerted to a potential scam, please report all relevant information here. Your diligence ensures that we maintain the trust and professionalism our industry stands for. REALTORS® and attorneys may be contacted by other real estate professionals if further details are needed about a reported scam.
Scams that are reported will be updated weekly and may be found in the “Resources” folder in the Info Hub.
For REALTORS® and Attorneys Only.
