Joe is the 2006 NCCBOR REALTOR^® of the Year, 2005 Past President of NCCBOR, and a manager with Weichert REALTORS^®. While President, Joe attended many committee meetings and represented NCCBOR with several groups including Housing Opportunities of Northern Delaware, Committee of 100, CIRIC Committee, Habitat for Humanity, Gala Auction for Housing Counseling, Trend Shareholders, and the New Castle County Land Use meetings.

At DAR, Joe attended the "Shared Services" program, participated in the Delaware Housing Coalition, contributed to RPAC fundraising, attended the DAR convention, and served on several DAR Committees as well as the Board of Directors. He attended the NAR Mid-Year meetings and the annual conference in San Francisco, and was a member of the NAR Education Committee. He participated in the NAR Ambassador for Cities Program, which was an initiative to encourage local employers to offer incentives to encourage workers to purchase a home.

On a more personal level, Joe has a B.A. degree in Business Administration, is an instructor for continuing education courses, and received the "At Home with Diversity" designation. He serves as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels and is a coach or assistant coach for several sports. Joe's personal philosophy is that as REALTORS^®, we have significant responsibility to the people we serve and we owe it to them to be knowledgeable and competent professionals.
