Celebrating Success — Looking Ahead:
RPAC-supported candidates prevailed in 95% of elections, leaving the REALTOR® Party well positioned to work with the new leadership in Congress and our new leadership in Delaware. Familiar friends we have made along the way are now re-elected, or elected into new positions, proving once again the need for us to work with our officials at the grassroots level today so we can better work with them tomorrow, on evolving issues at the state, local and national levels.

Unlike some groups who are reliant on a single political party for political advocacy, the REALTOR® Party has Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike. Our public policy issues cut across party lines and geographic regions: promoting homeownership, fostering a vibrant commercial real estate sector, and advocating affordable health insurance for small businesses and congressional oversight of federal regulatory decisions.

Resolving our economic problems is a complex endeavor. Your leadership teams have pledged to work with the House of Representatives, United States Senate, the new Obama Administration and our state and county legislators to address issues facing the real estate industry. Our electoral success and past legislative successes do not ensure future legislative success holding down real estate taxes in Delaware or improving homeownership opportunities through Federal policies. To prevail requires the continued support of all REALTORS®.
